The author of the book, Basics in Communication Skills, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Phonetics and Spoken English at The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. She has been in the teaching line for the past twenty-five years. Her passion is to help students from rural and underprivileged homes to surge ahead in life by helping them neutralize their accent. She is a well-experienced teacher who has also specialized in Articulatory and Acoustic phonetics.
