Dr. Shivani Pujala Kasarla is working as an
Associate Professor of English in Aurora’s
Technological and Research Institute, Hyderabad.
She has over ten years of teaching experience at
the graduate and post graduate level. Teaching
for her is her passion as well as vocation.

Dr. Shivani has two gold medals in English Literature and
Women’s writing. She has an M.A. in English from
the University of Hyderabad and has done her
PGCTE from EFLU. She has qualified UGC- NET. Dr. Shivani has Doctorate in
Multiculturalism and Immigrant Experience, in Ethnic Women’s writing, in
America. She is a member of MELOW, MELUS-India, ELTAI, Osmania
Graduates Association and Hyderabad Poetry Society. American Literatures
of various ethnicities and Indian Women’s writing are her areas of interest.
She has done programs for Yuvavani (English), AIR. Her creative interests
include writing of short stories and poems.
